Judge Herman C. Clause, Division E

Judge Herman Charles Clause was born November 14, 1942, in Arnaudville, Louisiana. He is a native and resident of Carencro, Louisiana.

He graduated from Carencro High School in 1960; received his B.A. from The University of Louisiana in 1964; and graduated from Tulane University Law School in 1966.

Judge Clause is a member of the Lafayette Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the American Judges Association. He is a former member of the Lafayette Parish School Board.

Judge Clause was first appointed commissioner of the 15th Judicial District Court in 1984, and served in said capacity until his election as Judge of Division E in 1997.
